Happy Thanksgiving

Thank you! Our holiday was enjoyable with family things going on all week, as it should be. I really do think that your Thanksgiving in Canada comes at a more appropriate time to celebrate the harvest. And it is farther from Christmas than ours. Marketing for Christmas seems to come earlier every year and now starts ahead of Thanksgiving with most businesses.

Interesting picture. In Mexico, the turkey is called either "pavo" or "guajalote". And the funny part is that a peacock is a "pavo real" or "Royal Turkey." That always makes me laugh.

Happy thanksgiving to you, too!

Dick, I happen to like American Thanksgiving better because it gives a nice flow to the holiday season: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years. But harvest wise, especially in our climates, you got that right.

Suebob, I wonder what peacock tastes like...
